Stayed at a condo owned by one of our friends while I toured Murray State University. I have camped at Big Bear before and have always loved it! The owners are very nice and typically involved with activities. There are bungalows for rent as well, but they're more like fishing cabins. There are camping spots as well with other cabin styled homes that one can rent for a week or a weekend if need be. Great place to stay!

Cabin 17 was huge with 2 balconies and 4 bedrooms with 5 beds. I didn't see the place to charge the boat outside the house until morning of leaving there. Spare towels are under the bathroom sinks just an fyi. They deliver new ones every other day. Staff was friendly. They are doing construction on entrance, so only 1 driveway right now. Main office was open, but you had to go to marina to check in. Very peaceful and quiet! Landscape is beautiful. Pool was closed for the season, which I knew, but first weekend in October, and it was 88 degrees, would have been nice to jump in, after fishing on the lake in such nice weather. I would recommend and stay again, if the opportunity to go to that area comes again.

We love it here!! We are yearly campers but our family always rents a place for the rest of our family to stay. We have never rented 7B condo before but I would highly recommend it!!! Has everything you need! 2 king beds and one room with 2 full size beds (I think). Kitchen is perfect for cooking meals for large groups!!!

We camped here and overall was a great experience. We camped in August (off season?) and it was very quiet and relaxing! Great lakeside site. The grass was really tall when we arrived, but soon after i brought it to the managements attention, an employee came to mow and visit with us! Thanks so much! Our only complaint is the road to get back to the campground. There are spots that are extremely rough. A little "patch" goes a long way.

Loved the resort. Super friendly people, very clean and some of the most attractive landscape you will see. Unfortunately some iffy weather made fishing atrocious. Certainly not the resorts fault. Close to access to both Kentucky and Barkley Lake and beautiful fishing spots if the fish had been cooperative.

We stayed at one of the pet friendly cabins. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with any utensil we may need. Even though it was pet friendly, there was no pet odors. We rented a pontoon for a half day and had a great time. The pool was clean and perfect temperature. We would definitely come back.

The older cabins are pretty outdated, but the price is nice for a fishing trip and they are always clean. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the two bedroom cabins with the back porch. Beautiful view in the morning! It has been around for a long time so it's cool to see some old pictures.
